What materials are available for food packaging:

The materials generally used in food packaging bags are PET film, PE film, PA film, OPP film and CPP film.

Their respective characteristics:

PET film: this film is ultra-transparent, the material is hard, and high temperature resistance, good printing effect, more suitable for food packaging bags, PET film feels particularly brittle to the touch, holding it in the hand can make a rustling crisp sound.

PE film: the transparency is slightly inferior to CPP, but softer than CPP, PE film tensile performance is better, tensile force is better. There are two kinds of milky white PE and transparent PE (HDPE/LDPE/LLDPE), which are softer to the touch.

PA film (nylon) :P A material is relatively tough, good transparency and wear resistance to puncture, easy to be oxidized, easy to shrink and wrinkle, this material is suitable for similar bone products.

OPP film: the material is hard, and can not be stretched, the heat sealing type is very good, but the transparency is relatively general, the material is more brittle, and the hand feel is poor.

CPP film: CPP material transparency is worse than OPP but better than PE, the material is soft and high temperature resistant, can be used to make printing materials, but not easy to print.

Common food packaging bags are generally composed of the above materials:

1. Material: BOPP/LLDPE two-layer composite

Features: moisture-proof, cold resistance, low temperature heat seal tensile force

Uses: instant noodles, snacks, frozen snacks, powder packaging, etc

2. Material: BOPP/CPP two-layer composite

Features: moisture-proof, oil-resistant, high transparency, good stiffness

Uses: instant noodles, biscuits, candies, all kinds of light food

3. Material: BOPP/VMCPP composite

Features: moisture-proof, oil-resistant, oxygen-insulating, shading, good stiffness

Composite bags

Uses: all kinds of dry food, fried food, potato chips

4. Material: BOPP/VMPET/LLDPE three-layer composite

Features: moisture-proof, oxygen barrier, shading

Uses: all kinds of food, rice snacks, snacks, tea

5. Material: PET/CPP two-layer composite

Features: moisture-proof, oxygen insulation, fragrance preservation, high temperature resistance

Uses: steamed, containing alcoholic food, aroma food

6. Material: PET/PET/CPP three-layer composite

Features: moisture-proof, high temperature resistance, easy sealing

Uses: powder packaging, soy sauce, liquid, shampoo
